I enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville-Downtown. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the downtown area, and I appreciated the spaciousness of the room and the excellent breakfast. However, I had some difficulties with the air conditioning in my room, which made my stay slightly less comfortable than I had hoped.

5.6/10

I had a decent stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville-Downtown. The hotel is well-located within walking distance to many downtown attractions, which was a big plus. However, I found my room to be quite noisy due to street sounds, making it difficult to sleep at times. While the breakfast offered a decent variety, I felt it lacked some of the quality I expected from the Hilton brand.

Rooms

My room was clean but quite noisy because it faced the street. I recommend asking for a room away from the noise if you're sensitive to it.

The breakfast was okay but didn't stand out to me. There was a variety of options, but some items felt a bit mediocre compared to what I've experienced at other Hiltons.

The overall facilities were good, but I encountered issues with noise and maintenance in the dining area, particularly during breakfast.

I had a mostly pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville-Downtown, but it was marred by some noise issues. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. However, the noise from the street made it hard to get a good night's sleep, which was disappointing. Still, the clean rooms and great location near downtown attractions made it worthwhile for my business trip.

Rooms

My room was clean and spacious, but I faced a lot of traffic noise since I was on the main road side. Overall, the cleanliness was on point.

Dining

Breakfast was pretty average. There were some decent options, but I found a lot of packaged items that weren't great. The hot foods were better, but I expected more variety.
Facilities

Parking was a bit of a hassle since it had an extra fee, but everything else—like the lobby and public spaces—was well-kept.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville-Downtown. The location was perfect for the Bassmaster Classic, and I appreciated that my room was clean and newly updated. While the weekend rates were a bit higher, I found good value overall. One downside was some noise from the street, but that didn't overshadow the great service I received.

Rooms

I was impressed with the cleanliness and modern updates in my room. It was spacious and comfortable, although I did notice some noise from the main road (which was a little distracting). In hindsight, I would recommend asking for a quieter room if possible.
Service

The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. I particularly appreciated the manager allowing me to park early, which was a thoughtful gesture given the busy downtown area. Their willingness to resolve any concerns was commendable.

The hotel's public spaces were well-kept, and I appreciated having parking available, especially in such a bustling downtown area. That said, navigating the parking garage felt a bit tight at times.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Knoxville-Downtown and was impressed by its newly completed renovations, which rival upscale boutique hotels. The location is a bit off the beaten path but just a few blocks from the downtown area, making it pretty convenient. My only issue was with the A/C in the room, which didn’t cool as expected, but overall, I had a pleasant experience.

Rooms
8.0
The King room was spacious and had great amenities, including a microwave and mini-fridge. The design was modern, with a lovely color palette and a comfortable chaise lounge. However, the A/C was a bit temperamental, requiring a very low setting to cool the room.
Service
9.0
The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive throughout my stay. They offered helpful recommendations and were great at resolving any issues quickly. I appreciated the effort of the breakfast staff, who kept the area organized despite being busy.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of downtown attractions like Market Square and the convention center. While it seemed somewhat out of the way at first, I found it convenient for accessing the area. Plus, the attached garage made parking easy for a downtown hotel.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was quite good, with a nice variety of options that changed daily. I particularly enjoyed the hot items, and it was clear that the staff worked hard to maintain the dining area. It added a lovely touch to my morning routine.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel features well-kept public areas and offers valuable amenities, such as parking and a sound machine in the room for added comfort. I found these aspects improved my stay significantly, even if the renovations were still ongoing at the time.
